Hallock is a statutory city governed by a five-member city council. The council meets on the first Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall. The council also governs the actions of the Municipal Utilities. Hallock has its own natural gas utility along with city sewer and water utilities.

THE CITY OF HALLOCK is taking applications for the position of
Requirements include: Be Licensed and/or Certified in Wastewater, Water, Gas and Pool (or the ability to obtain within one (1) year of
employment); mechanical aptitude and people skills. Will perform various types of manual labor and operate light/heavy equipment.
This position is for the daily operation, maintenance and repair of the city’s gas. water, sewer, streets, and parks, as well as meter reading,
snow removal and all other city requirements. Starting salary is based on qualifications and experience.
